On behalf of the Professional Firefighters Association of Mississippi (PROFAM), I am honored to offer our strong support for the National Firefighter Registry (NFR) for Cancer. PROFAM’s mission is centered on protecting the health and safety of firefighters who put their lives at risk every day. We recognize that cancer is the leading cause of firefighter line-of-duty deaths, and the NFR is a critical step toward understanding and preventing these tragic outcomes.
